About me

My name is Dana Bou Fakhereddine, I am a subtitler and translator. I have been translating media content ranging from press releases to videos for six years. I have a masters degree in translation and interpreting (English/Arabic) and a bachelors degree in mass communication with a concentration in Journalism and a minor in translation studies from the American University of Sharjah (AUS). I have gained experience, specifically in subtitling videos, translating texts, and writing news through my full-time job at Bukhash Brothers (#ABtalks); my part-time job at the strategic communications and marketing department at AUS, and Action care; and my internships at Al Arabiya English Website, and Meirc Training and Consulting Services.
